This cute couple recently had an intimate Bozeman Montana winter engagement session and it felt like we were in a beautiful winter wonderland! This engagement session was actually at Hyalite Reservoir, which is very close to Bozeman! Hanna and Mike are from Illinois and were actually on a trip to Big Sky, Montana, and knew they wanted to have a little mountain getaway, so they decided on a beautiful engagement session in the mountains of Montana! It was absolutely perfect for them!

Hanna and Mike were so in love, you can just tell by looking at these photos. This session was so effortless because of how these two complement each other! Their poses were so natural and I felt like I didn’t need to do much prompting with their poses! I LOVE capturing true, authentic love. There’s just nothing quite like it. These two both love the outdoors and they told me how the mountains feel like home to them, and Hanna has always dreamed of a beautiful mountain wedding, so an engagement session with the mountain backdrop just felt like it was meant to be!

Hyalite Reservoir is such a perfect location for winter engagement photos with mountain backdrops! I know of so many other beautiful locations in Montana if you’re looking for something different too! The fresh snow-covered mountains and pines were absolutely gorgeous, and even though it may be a bit cold during your session, the photos are always so worth it!
