Golden Hour Winter Maternity Photos In Montana

Shelby & Jacob’s winter maternity photos were bursting with so much love and anticipation for their new baby girl’s arrival! Their love for each other, their sweet girl, and their excitement as first-time parents radiated throughout this entire session. I adored how sweet and playful they were with each other during this session too! These two have since welcomed their sweet baby girl; she is healthy and beautiful and they’ll soon be welcoming me into their home to document the babe’s first few weeks of life! I’m so excited to capture this new chapter in their lives next!

Intimate Winter Maternity Photos In Montana

It was a bit challenging trying to schedule and plan for an outdoor maternity session in the middle of winter in Montana, but because of babe’s due date, we didn’t have too many options. Shelby and Jacob knew they would regret it if they didn’t commemorate this sweet, intimate time before baby girl made her debut.

We were finally able to reschedule the shoot for a day when the forecast looked to be in our favor and it turned out SO PERFECT – I’m so glad we could make it happen! It was a little chilly but luckily, no wind. We ended up with the most beautiful golden sunset! Looking back, we know we were blessed with a perfect winter session. Montana had record-low temps just a few weeks after our shoot. Phew!
